While I have been continuing my work on the AEO documentation I have completed a majority of its contents while also having to create external supporting documents. Some of this work includes creating Business Partner Selection Criteria, a Code of Ethics/Conduct and a few checklists for some of the areas.
I had a role assisting with the promotions department of our Foska Oats brand at the Cricket Premier League (CPL) Tournament games Friday, Saturday and Monday. Working long days I stayed to watch each of the games the Jamaican Tallawas played lasting up to 4.5 hours each. This was my first time experiencing cricket and I had the chance to do so with a VIP ticket allowing me access to a VIP booth with a great view, free food and drinks. Alan ended up catching a ball after it bounced off a back tarp in one hand only to find out he had to throw it back to the players. After the crowd yelling, unlike baseball, we quickly realised it gets thrown back to the pitcher because they use a certain ball so much it forms to their hand and style of pitching. Not that Alan was upset enough, we later found out had he caught the ball before it bounced in one hand, he would have won between $1000-3000 USD.
Sunday we headed to a beach party called Festival of Floats in Ocho Rios with some friends. The beach was nice to enjoy with a live DJ, free food and a mini beach rave happening while others floated in the ocean.
